The Systems Administrator provides system support and administration to all operational client computing systems and related services. The incumbent demonstrates an understanding of how client software behaves in order to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems. Additionally, the Systems Administrator leverages configuration and optimization and automation techniques to ensure that client systems operate efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may beassigned.
Troubleshoots IT service issues related to client computing systems and related servers of hosted services.
Partners with the cloud and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve network related issues.
Administer the virtual desktop environment and provision virtual desktop instances.
Administer users, mailboxes and distribution lists on Office 365.
Administer Endpoint management tools, creating images, policies and configuration profiles for end user devices management and provisioning with tools such as Ivanti/Landesk, Jamf, MobileIron, Microsoft Intune aka Microsoft Enpoint Manager and SCCM.
Provides automation by using languages such as PowerShell, Bash, VB Script, and AppleScript.
Configure GPO rules and administer Windows endpoint and servers.
Performs system troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems.
Performs root-cause analysis for service interruptions and creates preventative measures.
Co-manage end-user security-based applications such as CrowdStrike, Duo and ISE.
Respond to Security Incidents and be part of security Incident Management team.
Assist with upgrades of systems and software components as required.
Willingness to learn advanced Open Source concepts is required.
Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources.

Knowledge of Intune aka Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Ivanti/Landesk administration
Experience in light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting
Experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers
Powershell scripting experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and GPO
Must be available before and after normal business hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Mac and Jamf Administration
Knowledge with administrating Office 365
Experience with Azure and AWS Cloud
Knowledge of Azure AD
Bash scripting knowledge
Experience working with cloud and virtualization technologies
Experience with Windows Server Administration
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or combination of education and experience.
Three or more years of experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers.
